Gouldians are cute, little finches from northern Australia. There are many color variants, ranging from red faces to black faces, colorful birds, solid yellow birds, blue ones etc.
In their natural habitat, they prefer wide savannah areas, where they find their favorite food: grass seeds. Here Temperatures can go as high as 45°C during day and drop to 35°C in the night.

Feeding them is quite easy, plain bird seeds, canary mix, mixed greens and occasionally a boiled egg keep them happy. In the wild they live in big flocks, hence they are best kept in groups.
